So here I am, waiting for class to start.
The drive to school today was actually… nice. Usually I don’t like driving, and often I find it stressful and I have to try to not get annoyed at stupid drivers. But today I just kinda relaxed and went with the flow. I didn’t even get annoyed having to follow my neighbor all the way down Westside Road when he wasn’t doing speeds up to my standard. Then in town I just kept cruising through green lights. I actually enjoyed driving. Weird.
Other than that… we had tuna casserole for supper last night. Yummy. My dad is leaving for Vancouver again today (he just got back last Tuesday) because there’s a whole bunch of messed up family stuff going on down there. Then mom is leaving Friday after work to go help him with stuff. So I’ll be on my own, which is annoying meals-wise, but I think I’ll see if I can get together with someone and have some quality friends-time. That would be nice.
Last Tuesday Tyler and I made some philosophy plans, but instead ended up going to the cafeteria and hanging with Andrew, Shay, and Shay’s friend. It was highly entertaining. Tyler and I still need to do the philosophy thing though.
My allergies have been really, really bugging me lately. My nose is constantly congested, to the point where I couldn’t sleep the night before last because I couldn’t breathe. I found some old allergy stuff last night and it worked just enough to allow me to sleep. I wish I knew what it was that’s making my allergies act up, at least. This is extraordinarly frustrating. Allergies can also make singing very difficult.
Come October I’ll be singing in a performance for Alan (friend of the family). This means I need to really get cracking at singing, since I’ve done practically zero of that all summer. The last few days I’ve been trying to get back in shape, vocally, which varying degrees of success. Continued practice is a huge must. I’ll be doing probably four songs, likely two of them from Phantom of the Opera. Hurray! We’re looking at Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again and Think of Me. Nailing that last note on the latter song is so much fun. Other than that, the other two songs will likely be Sun Twinkles (happy fun song) and Whistle Down the Wind, another Andrew Lloyd Webber song. ALW rocks.
I finally beat that dumb barrels part in Kingdom Hearts, so I can finally move on. That locking on a target trick helped immensely in beating that part. I did it by accident – I wish someone had’ve told me about it before. Ah well, now there’s tons of fun stuff to do once again. And I got the warp thing for my ship, so I don’t have to do the gummi routes every time! *cheers* That part where Maleficent was talking to Riku was dumb though. “Your friend has replaced you – he doesn’t need you anymore.” How dumb can you get? Come on. Riku is so cooler looking than Sora though. Why can’t their pictures trade places? Sora looks like Riku and Riku like Sora? Although in KH2, I always thought that it looks like Riku’s pants were falling down. So maybe not.
Well, I have to leave for class in half a minute, so I guess I better tie this up. *surveys what I’ve written* Wow, that turned out a lot longer than I thought it would… 0.o Ah well.

I heard a new name for little dogs: sidewalk pirhanas. I seriously laughed for a full minute. So awesome.
I always disliked Riku. He was so naive and… naive. And dumb. And GAH. I didn’t mind Sora’s appearance in the first game. He looked better in the second game. I LOLed a lot when you first meet him in the second game ’cause all his clothes are way too small for him. lolpuberty.
