Essays… gr. I have another one to right, for my other philosophy class now. I really wish we had better topics. All of them, except one, totally sucked, and I just know that everyone else is going to pick the remaining one, because it also happens to be the easiest. Usually I avoid the easiest one for that reason, but… the others just plain suck. And not only do they suck, they would require me to take stances that normally I would be opposed to.
…Have I mentioned that this sucks?
Well, after playing too much Okami and doo-dah-ing on the internet, I think I should get going. I wrote up a brief outline, but it needs some serious fleshing out. *sighs* I’m feeling so… unmotivated. As usual, I’m still behind in all my readings, too.
My stomach sucks.

Oh yeah, and I was going to mention that I watched Zeitgeist. It was… okay. Certainly thought-provoking in the second two sections, though really what it boils down to is… this is just another conspiracy theory. Still, thought-provoking it was.
Part 1 was on Christianity. It contained the usual evidence against the religion, and the usual huge leaps for conclusions and misinterpretations. Just because the church is corrupt, doesn’t mean the religion itself is bad. Learn to differentiate, people. Yes, there are funny parallels, yes, the church did bad things, yes, there are very strange things in the Bible if you take them literally. People are just looking for excuses to not feel accountable. Go pray to your molecules. I doubt they’ll answer.
Part 2 was about 9/11, and Part 3 was about the Federal Reserve Bank. Definitely some interesting facts here. The most interesting part here though, is concerning all these “facts” they spew out at us. They say the government is covering a whole bunch of this stuff up, and they’re trying to get all these facts better known. But really… this means we have to trust /them/ exclusively to tell us these “facts.” Does anyone else see the problem here? They are certainly worth thinking about though.
Overall, it was interesting and thought-provoking, but I can’t help but feel dubious concerning it. Especially given how they loved to flash images at you in quick blinks, shooting info at you too fast to fully input them. You have no time to think, just mindlessly react. Funny how that is, especially given the message they’re trying to push.

I was supposed to be able to finish watching FullMetal Alchemist this weekend… but for some reason on of the episodes and the movie that finishes it do not work. ;_; For some reason, both Episode 46 and the movie have no pictures, just sound. With it being so close to the end of the series, I can’t exactly skip and episode, either. I really hope that Tyler has a working version of both…

Muahaha. I watched Episode 46 online. It took forever to find a version that worked and would buffer in less than an hour, but I did it. There is NO way I’m doing that for the movie though… I’ll need to get that from Tyler again. Maybe I’ll just go to his house to watch it. *puppy eyes at Tyler*
At least I can get on with the rest of the TV episodes now. :D
