Voter Official

I am now an official voter, as I voted for the first time today. It was kinda funny, really; I got shuffled around to all these different tables to get registered and then vote, and every time I went to a new table, something funny happened. The first time I saw my sister’s name, which was incorrectly listed as “Savannah Edna Mary Beavers.” Super-lol. Her middle name is Mae, not Edna-Mary, but all the rest of the information confirmed it was supposed to be her. XD At the second table the lady informed me that she had a magical mango fruit – every time she took a slice out and bit into it, someone came over. At the third table I overheard a conversation as I approached about how “now that your partner’s gone, someone’s going to come” and everyone laughed when I walked up. I’m so awesome. XD Apparently they hadn’t had someone at their table for forever, so the one lady decided to go get a bathroom break just before I walked up. Murphy’s Law: it had to happen. They were all really funny and nice though, and we chatted while waiting and got everything straightened out.

Today overall was pretty good though. I’m still stressed about a bunch of reading I have to do, but I guess I’ll have to manage. Philosophy of language made more sense than usual today (hurray!) although I need to do reading for that class too, and Steven was entertaining to talk to on the bus this morning (yay for hurricanes?). Sarika and I swapped “spoilers” on the busride home. Sarika, THEY’RE ALL CYLONS. STARBUCK, TAI, GAIUS, SIX, THE PEOPLE WHOSE NAMES I CAN’T REMEMBER, ALL OF THEM. Gada? Gayda? Gaida? Great, now I remember his name, but I can’t spell it. Anyway, he’s a cylon too. Just like me. *gasp*

We watched a very entertaining movie in Ling. Anth. today on “Canadian Talk.” Go CBC. “We are very serious aboot these policies!” LAWL. “Could you please pass me a serviette? I spilled my poutine on the chesterfield.” (Another lol: Firefox spellchecker doesn’t recognize ‘poutine’ as a word. Point proven.)

Okay, Sarika, I have episodes 1, 2, and 3 of Heroes Season 3. Was last Monday episode 4 or 5? Am I missing two right now?
